Micro-credential Summary:

This micro-credential will focus on the relationships between strengths, values, and goals and happiness and wellbeing. Throughout the micro-credential you will see the interconnections between using our character strengths and health behaviours and physical wellbeing; and you will examine the ways in which values and goals are often determined by the culture in which we live and our own ethnic and social identities. Finally, you will be equipped with the knowledge to reflect on ways in which strengths, values, and goals give meaning to our lives, and the ways in which the values we hold and the goals we pursue relate to our wellbeing.

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.

Learning Outcomes:  

  1. Define what is meant by the terms strengths, values, and goals 
  2. Outline how strengths, values, and goals are related to our happiness and wellbeing
  3. Identify your signature strengths and what is important in your life (values)
  4. Identify ways to enact smaller and larger goals in line with your values using the tools provided.

Outcomes, Career Opportunities and Occupations:

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession. Upon successful completion of the micro-credential, students will be awarded Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, a non-creditable micro-credential (Digital Badge) and a Certificate of Completion.
