Micro-credential Summary:
This online micro-credential outlines the concept of wellbeing and identifies different approaches for thinking about and defining wellbeing. Various physiological, psychological, and environmental factors that influence wellbeing will be discussed. Scales to measure life satisfaction, positive and negative affect, flourishing, and other concepts are outlined and students are encouraged to reflect on their own wellbeing throughout the micro-credential.
This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
Learning Outcomes:
- Outline the concept of wellbeing
- Identify approaches to defining wellbeing
- Identify the ways in which different types of wellbeing (e.g., home, work school) are interconnected, as well as the relationship between physiological, psychological, and environmental influences on wellbeing
- Reflect on ecological models as an approach to understanding how wellbeing and resilience are influenced by the individual, their immediate environment, wider social settings and processes, and overarching customs and values.

Undertaking this micro-credential enables students to meet their Continuing Professional Development obligations and industry update requirements in their profession.
