This online assessment module examines the topics covered in the Intermediate Mathematics - Concepts and Skills micro-credential set including simultaneous equations; inequalities and absolute values; quadratic equations; logarithms; functions; geometry; trigonometry; variation, ratio, and proportion; sequences and series; statistics and standard deviation; probability; financial mathematics; and annuities.
Students who successfully complete the CQUniversity School of Access Education's Intermediate Mathematics: Concepts and Skills set of 9 micro-credentials, may receive a unit exemption from the equivalent CL03 Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) unit with CQUniversity.
To be eligible for this exemption, students must have completed:- PDC106144 Linear Equations and Inequalities

- PDC106279 Logarithms and Exponential Equations
- PDC106280 Introduction to Geometry and Trigonometry
- PDC106281 Ratio, Proportion, and Variation

- PDC87417 Intermediate Mathematics - Concepts and Skills: Assessment Module.
Learning Outcomes:
- Use available resources to select and apply appropriate intermediate bridging mathematics techniques to correctly solve problems
- Adopt mathematics as a language to logically communicate solutions
- Reflect on assessment feedback to improve mathematical comprehension
- Implement appropriate revision techniques and strategies to improve the retention and recall of content
- Recall, select and apply appropriate intermediate bridging mathematics procedures to correctly solve problems.

Students who are eligible to complete this assessment module will be provided with an enrolment key.

This module contains the assessment items required for completion of the suite of 9 *micro-credentials.
Students can only gain access to this module upon completion of courses 1 - 8 of the micro-credential suite.
Students who successfully complete the set of 9 micro-credentials* developed from the unit MATH40228 Intermediate Mathematics for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for exemption pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.
