Micro-credential Summary:

This online micro-credential examines the influence of anxiety on student engagement and learning in the classroom. It is specifically designed to help tertiary educators consider their teaching practice to promote the potential for student success.  
The micro-credential will explore the following topics:

  1. Describing anxiety
  2. Strategies for reducing anxiety in students
  3. Knowing how to refer a student for further assistance.

Learning Outcomes: 

  1. Describe the impact of anxiety on student experience in the tertiary classroom
  2. Develop strategies to assist students when they are struggling with anxiety
  3. Know when to refer a student for further assistance.
