Summary:

This online micro-credential introduces concepts that will assist you to develop an understanding of the nursing care of people with mental health problems or conditions. The micro-credential is broad in its content. It explores historical aspects of mental health, symptomatology and diagnosis, relationship building and a look at you - the 'person' in the nurse. It also covers the Recovery Model and the important perspectives from consumers or service users which will assist you in your understanding of mental health care delivery.

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
