Course Summary: 

This online micro-credential provides an introduction to the importance of accurate documentation in the health setting. Good documentation supports the healthcare processes of care through the progress notes, provides a clear channel of communication and ultimately provides legal proof of the duty of care and professional accountability. This course highlights the importance of documentation to facilitate the safe care and treatment of a client.

  2. Identify the key essential elements of good communication through documentation
  3. Define the standards for progress notes.
