Course Summary:

Positive psychology is a scientific study of optimal human functioning that aims to discover and promote the factors that allow individuals and communities to thrive (Seligman, 2004). This online micro-credential will extend your application of positive psychology theory by identifying your character strengths and exploring how these enhance your self-belief, communication skills, and capacity to build positive relationships. This micro-credential will explore how positive psychology strategies can be applied in everyday practices to create healthy habits, manage stress and build resilience in your life. This micro-credential will provide practical skills to harness your own positive mindset, as well as apply this to your community through the lens of a socially innovative mindset.

This is a non-creditable micro-credential which is awarded a digital badge and Certificate of Completion which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
