Course Summary:

Note-taking and paraphrasing are essential skills in higher education. This online micro-credential will explore practical tips for taking notes from your research, lectures and presentations. You will learn useful shortcuts and different ways of setting out your notes to suit your learning style. This micro-credential will also introduce a range of strategies to help you master the skill of paraphrasing.

Students who successfully complete the set of 9 micro-credentials* developed from the unit SKIL40025 Preparation Skills for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.
