Understanding how your brain works is helpful in achieving optimal learning. This online micro-credential will explore the principles of brain-based learning and the purpose of assessments. This micro-credential will introduce you to the basic principles of how the brain works, to help you develop a range of strategies that optimise memory capacity and learning potential. This micro-credential provides you with practical strategies to best prepare for assignments and exams.

Students who successfully complete the set of 9 micro-credentials* developed from the unit SKIL40025 Preparation Skills for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.
