When you have paid for your course, the payment receipt and Enrolment Course Details Summary will be send to your registered email address.  To commence your study, please click on Log In to Be Different link, you can find it in your Enrolment Course Details Summary email.


If you haven't received above mentioned emails:

  • please check you SPAM folder
  • your registered email format is [studentNumber]@student.cqu.edu.au, has a limited access to email services. Please contact Centre for Professional Development CQUniversity (cpd-enquiries@cqu.edu.au) with your First/Last name and alternative email address you would like to use to access your course. We will send you a payment receipt and Enrolment Course Details to an alternative email address you've proved.

If you are having difficulty accessing your micro-credential course for the first time or are attempting to log back into the site after you have created your account, it may be that you are not entering your details into the correct section. 

Please go to Be Different and click on ‘Micro-Credential Courses’.

  • If you created your account using the ‘Don’t have an account? Sign up now’ (red arrow and box below), then to log in, please use sign in option 'with your registered account' . Please type Email Address and Password in respected boxes. If you have forgotten your password, click on the ‘Forgot you Password’ link circled in red below.
  • If you created your account using the ‘Continue with Google’ sign in option, then you will need to use this option when you log in again (blue arrow and box below).
  • If you created your account using the ‘Continue with Microsoft’ sign in option, then you will need to use this option when you log in again (orange arrow and box below).
  • If you created your account using the 'CQUniversity account' sign in option and you have an access to your CQU email address, then you can use sign in options: 'CQUniversity account' (green arrow and box below) OR 'with your registered account' (red arrow and box below) to log in again.
  • Whichever option you have used to initially create your account, please enter the SAME email and password details when you log in again to access your micro-credential.


You should now have access to your course.

CQU Staff can enroll into some micro-credential courses from Empower Learning for free. If you are already enrolled into the course from Empower Learning and trying to access your micro-credential course directly from Be Different Moodle, please use Postgraduate/IChange (inc CQUniversity Staff) login option


If you are CQU Staff and enrolling into micro-credential courses from CQUniversity corporate site, the FAQ: I can't access my course or get back into it (Information for Student) will also apply to you.

Our micro-credential courses are hyperflexible, self-guided and self-paced, meaning you can undertake the study in your own time at your own pace. You can stop and start your course at your leisure. To go back into your micro-credential, please follow the instructions above.

The duration time indicated for your course provides an approximate estimate of how long it will take you to complete all course materials (including readings, videos and activities) as well as undertake the relevant quiz. This is a merely a guide.
