This micro-credential provides you with techniques for solving mathematical problems and tools for communicating mathematical solutions.
Students who successfully complete the set of 4 micro-credentials* developed from the unit MATH40237 Fundamental Mathematics for University, (which forms part of the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03), may be eligible for credit transfer, pending all other entry requirements to the Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) CL03 are being met, as automatic entry will not apply.

- Introduction to Exponents, Statistics and Units
- Fundamental Mathematics - Concepts and Skills: Assessment Module.

It is recommended to complete PDC85417: Fractions, Decimals and Percentages and PDC85436: Algebraic Expressions and Linear Equations before enrolling in this micro-credential.
