You will be introduced to the use of cohesive ties, cautious language, objectivity and formal language in essay writing. This micro-credential will provide you with practical strategies for drafting, editing and proofreading to prepare your writing for submission.
Students who successfully complete the CQUniversity School of Access Education's Fundamental Essay Writing set of 6 micro-credentials, may receive a unit exemption from the equivalent CL03 Skills for Tertiary Education Preparatory Studies (STEPS) unit with CQUniversity.
To be eligible for this exemption, students must have completed:

2. Structuring an Academic Essay
3. Avoiding Plagiarism
4. Referencing and Citing
5. Using Academic Language and Style
6. Fundamentals of Essay Writing: Assessment Module.
This online micro-credential provides a creditable micro-credential and digital badge which can be shared to your social networks and displayed in your professional portfolio.
